Maybe you’ve always lost things, missed deadlines, or started ten projects and finished none.
Maybe you’ve always felt a step out of sync with other people, like everyone got a rulebook you never saw.
Many adults find out about ADHD or autism late, often after years of being called lazy, rude, or “too much.” Finding out can bring relief, and grief, at the same time.
Your brain isn’t broken. It works differently. Therapy can help you work with it instead of fighting it.
Is this you?
- You start things and can’t finish them, even things you care about.
- You’re always late, behind, or scrambling.
- You put things off, then panic at the last minute.
- Social rules feel confusing or exhausting.
- Noise, light or crowds wear you out fast.
- You’ve spent years feeling like you’re doing life “wrong.”

I treat this in adults 18 and over. I don’t do ADHD or autism testing. If you haven’t been tested, I’ll refer you to someone who does. Once you have a diagnosis, I can treat it.
How therapy works with me
We look at how your brain works best, then build routines, tools and habits around it. No shame, no lectures about trying harder.
I pay close attention to your words. “I’m so lazy.” “What’s wrong with me?” “I’ll do it later.” Those phrases often carry years of criticism you’ve taken on as your own.
ADHD and autism affect relationships too. Partners can end up feeling like a parent, or feeling ignored. Couples sessions can help you both understand what’s happening and share the load more fairly. Sessions are by video, in English or Spanish.
